Brightsolid Managed Detection and Response Service Are Now Available for Companies in Scotland and North England

Brightsolid, a company that builds and manages secure and scalable hybrid cloud environments, has launched its first Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. The service was specifically tailored for Scottish and English organizations.

Based in Dundee, with data centers in Aberdeen, the company has provided managed services to the private and public sectors for over 24 years. As a result, they identified a need for a cybersecurity product tailored to their market, which offers proactive protection against threats at a reasonable fee.

In contrast to traditional externally managed security providers, Brightsolid provides organizations with an experienced in-house SOC team designed to safeguard networks 24/7 and secure businesses from malicious security threats while maintaining high uptime.

SOCs are in charge of analyzing potential cyber security threats, case development, incident management, and determining actions to take. It also helps deal with any follow-up investigations that arise.

Brightsolid's MDR system protects against advanced, common, and evolving threats while providing companies with premium cybersecurity services.

However, Brightsolid's CEO, Elaine Maddison, says, "companies seeking MDR services have found that the products offered are generally expensive and of variable quality."

"There wasn't a product in the market that we were happy would protect our customers for a cost that made sense, so we've spent the last year developing our own. We've combined the best people with the best technology to bring our MDR to the market, but we're not going to charge a premium for the service.

"Every organization is a potential victim, and time lost understanding and prioritizing alerts can lead to significant financial and reputational damage. So it's important that, whatever an organization's size, they can be reassured that they are protected from threats."
