Infosys and Microsoft Expand Cloud-Adoption Collaboration Worldwide
BENGALURU – Infosys and Microsoft plan to collaborate more closely to “accelerate enterprise cloud transformation journeys worldwide,” according to an official announcement. In this arrangement Infosys Cobalt and other services will be onboarded to Azure, with the goal of creating more agile enterprises.
The companies cited the example of Infosys Helix running on Azure for the healthcare industry, taking an “AI-first, people-centric platform” to analyze, customize and democratize data for payers, providers, members, and governments, according to an Infosys announcement. Another example cited by Infosys is its Equinox, a “human-centric” digital commerce and marketing platform that enables contextualized omnichannel buying experiences.
The companies say their collaboration is already being applied to develop personalized experiences with the more than 300,000 Infosys employees. The app environmnt is also integrated with an array of enterprise systems, including Microsoft Dynamics365, and enabled with enterprise-grade security. Microsoft , on the other hand, is using Infosys' expertise to deliver product support.
In making the announcement, Anand Swaminathan, Executive Vice President & Global Industry Leader Communications, Media and Technology, Infosys, said, "Infosys and Microsoft have a longstanding 360-degree strategic collaboration. Microsoft and Infosys also work closely to bring to enterprises the value of Infosys Cobalt cloud solutions, and accelerate time-to-value for Microsoft enterprises business solutions."
