New Data Center Spans Border Between California, USA and Baja California, Mexico

MCALLEN, TX - MDC Data Centers will have a new border-spanning data center in Southern California up and running in the second quarter of this year. It's building the center with the Mexican company Vivaro Telecom. The facility will connect San Diego to the state of Baja California, Mexico, delivering services along two independent routes.

MDC Data Centers focuses on networks that connect to and serve all of Mexico. The company, in its own words, strives to “unite networks, countries, and people to empower our customers and communities to thrive.” Vivaro is headquartered in Monterrey, and serves Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
