IDCA Appoints BTA as its LATAM Education Provider

Washington D.C., October 17th, 2022: International Data Center Authority (IDCA) today announced that it has signed BTA as the training provider of IDCA in Latin America. As of October 2022 Business & Technologies Academy (“BTA”) will be the authorized provider of IDCA portfolio of education and certification services across LATAM. This partnership comes after months of evaluation in forming a strategic alliance to better serve the subject region.

On the occasion of this new partnership, G.H., Chief Communications Officer at IDCA, stated, “After carefully reviewing tens of applications from the LATAM region, we have carefully handpicked BTA based on our assessment of the company’s management, resources, and fresh mindset to serve the modern needs of Latin America from the professional education perspective”.
BTA opens its doors in Latin America based in the city of Mexico City and with the sole objective of contributing and developing knowledge throughout the technology and business community, this being the standard to implement its 4 levels of training:

- Business School
- School of Data Centers
- Fiber Optic School
- Security School

Being the school of data centers the focus of the first stage of development in Mexico and LATAM. For this, it has obtained IDCA’s support to deliver IDCA-certified data center and cloud education and certification to data center and cloud providers, system integrators, end-users, distributors and manufacturers.
“IDCA is the standard of BTA for the delivery of certifications in data centers, and such a sophisticated organization was chosen for its seriousness, innovative content and alignment with the most demanding market trends, which differentiates them from any other certifications that exist in the market”, stated Miguel Angel Rivera Trejo, Director of Sales at BTA.
IDCA’s data center education and certification will be available in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru, and Chile via BTA.
Regional Director of LATAM at IDCA, Josue Ramirez, stated, “We congratulate BTA for this great achievement and are very happy to be cooperating jointly in educating the LATAM pool of human capital and enhancing the professional skillsets in this terrain.”
