The third monthly online broadcast in IDCA's new webinar series is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20 from 11am until noon Eastern time. The topic is Excellence in Operational Management, and brings together data center operations professionals from Microsoft, Apple, Bloomberg, AIG, Roblox, and NBC.

“Excellence in data center management encompasses physical infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and achieving efficiency, security, performance, and excellence through smart policies, the right tool sets, and a holistic understanding of the entire application ecosystem,” according to IDCA Founder and Chairman Mehdi Paryavi. “Capacity planning, resource management, such as human resources, energy resources, parts, vendors, etc. business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and security policies and procedures are all integral parts of achieving excellence in operations management.”

“This panel brings a real-world view from several leading data center management executives to a discussion of challenges, how they meet those challenges, along with the lessons learned and best practices that result from their experience,” said IDCA Chief Research Officer and Editor-in-Chief Roger Strukhoff, who will moderate the panel.

IDCA's first two webinars in this series focused on Web 3.0 and EMI/EMP, respectively. They received strong attendance, enthusiastic responses to several live poll questions, and a 100% positive response when attendees were asked if they would attend future events.
