Certification For The Digital Era

IDCA offers a wide range of effective certifications for industry professionals, infrastructure and ecosystem designs, builds, and operations, as well as digital infrastructure technologies and services. IDCA certifies and validates the capabilities and claims of five (5) distinct but interrelated pillars of digital infrastructure effectiveness, reliability, and sustainability…

Professional Certification

IDCA provides the world’s leading professional training and certification for specialists, technicians, operators, designers, architects, engineers, technologists, auditors, consultants, vendors, business executives, and project managers.

Infrastructure Certification

IDCA offers build, development, and implementation certification routes for the seven layers of the application, compute, platform, IT infrastructure, site facility infrastructure, site, and topology will be benchmarked against the IDCA compliance requirements.

The Grade Levels (G0-G4)

Grade Level 0 (G0®) is the highest level of achievement when awarded to any application, platform, compute, ITI, SFI, Site, or Topology layers. G0 represents the lowest levels of risk, the lowest level of insecurities, inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and chances of failure.

Grade Level 1 (G1®) is the above-average level of achievement when awarded to any application, platform, compute, ITI, SFI, Site, or Topology layers. G1 represents the low levels of risk, low level of insecurities, inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and chances of failure.

Grade Level 2 (G2®) is the average level of achievement when awarded to any application, platform, compute, ITI, SFI, Site or Topology layers. G1 represents an average exposure to risks, insecurities, inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and chances of failure.

Grade Level 3 (G3®) is the below-average level of achievement when awarded to any application, platform, compute, ITI, SFI, Site or Topology layers. G3 represents a below-average exposure to risks, insecurities, inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and chances of failure.

Grade Level 4 (G4®) is the lowest level of achievement when awarded to any application, platform, compute, ITI, SFI, Site, or Topology layers. G4 represents the highest levels of risk, the highest acceptable level of insecurities, inefficiencies, vulnerabilities, and chances of failure.

Efficacy Score Rating - ESR®

ESR® - The single most reliable score rating for comparing a system, design or service' s delivery abilities and claims! Efficacy Score Rating is the system and methods for piecewise evaluation of the efficacy of a complex system. In abstract systems and methods for evaluation and comparison of a complex system's efficacy composed of independent or interdependent components is referred to as ESR®. The efficacy of each component is evaluated and scored based on a set of pre-determined criteria. The component-wise efficacy scores are then combined to produce an overall system efficacy score for the purpose of evaluation of the whole and comparison with other systems within the same context or domain. Examples of efficacy score rating applications are data center rating, business rating, service provider rating, security ratings, etc.

IDCA SDS (System, Design, Service) certification is intended to validate the interoperability of a complex system, design, or service with complex and mission-critical environments and certify their application and use case per the critical level, scale, and scope of the environment their provider aims to serve.

System

A system is a specific technology comprised of varied components that work together in a pre-configured fashion for an intended purpose in the form of hardware, software or both. IDCA provides expert evaluation and certification of tools, systems, components and technologies across the application ecosystem from software applications to virtual and physical IT infrastructure, site, and facility infrastructure equipment.

Design

A design is a set of drawings and schematics that are devised to implement a complex set of services if executed per its specified metrics and within its required thresholds. IDCA offers design, concept, and architecture certification routes for complex systems, tools, software, and infrastructure across the seven layers of the application, compute, platform, IT infrastructure, site facility infrastructure, site, and topology will be benchmarked against the IDCA compliance requirements.

Service

A service is the management, execution, and delivery of a set of methodologies, processes, and approaches via authorized and skilled resources that together deliver an intended end goal, as claimed by the service provider. IDCA offers service delivery, operations, management, and maintenance certification for quality, reliability, security, efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of such services for the seven layers of the application, compute, platform, IT infrastructure, site facility infrastructure, site, and topology will be benchmarked against the IDCA compliance requirements.

The Certification Process

IDCA’s SDS Certification process involves the full assessment, evaluation, and qualification of a System, Design, or Service for specific use cases and applicability. Upon receipt of the system design, and documentation, IDCA begins evaluating the system to ensure that the product fulfills compliance requirements and standards. After evaluating the product, IDCA either deems the product to be in compliance with requirements and standards or rejects it based on a lack of compliance with those standards. A fee is charged for the administration of evaluations by IDCA.

Once IDCA verifies the system adheres to its standards, a certificate is issued to the SDS producer authorizing the placement of the IDCA logo to all rendered system, design or service. The IDCA logo represents that the SDS has been tested and approved by IDCA to adhere to its standards.
