Eco Wave Power Global has entered into an agreement with the Israeli National Electric Company for its wave-energy project at the Port of Jaffa inTel Aviv. Once all testing is complete, this will be the nation's first wave-energy power.

Separately, Eco Wave Power will soon be installation a wave-energy station at the Port of Los Angeles in the US, which it says will be the first such onshore installation in the country.

The Israeli Energy Ministry is a co-investor in the Tel Aviv project. Eco Wave Power also received funding from the European Union Regional Development Fund, Innovate UK and the European Commission's Horizon 2020 framework program. The Company has received a "Global Climate Action Award" from the United Nations.
